نشأة القديس

ولد هذا القديس بصعيد مصر من ابوين مسيحين وكانا يعملان بالفلاحه ورعاية الاغنام فربياه فى مخافة الله

وعلماه الكتب المقدسه فدرس الكتب الالهيه ونبوات الانبياء وتعاليم الرسل الاطهار.فلما كبراحتاج اليه والده فى رعاية الاغنام

وكان هذا القديس مداوما على قراءة الاسفار المقدسه مع الصوم والصلاه والتدرج فى النسكيات.

ابصر فى شبابه رؤيا وكشف الله له بما يصير اليه اغريباطا(دقلديانوس)،اذ يصير ملكا على جميع الدوله الرومانيه ويقيم ااضطهادا على البيعه المقدسه فيتمجد الله فى قديسيه.

مضى القديس بساده الى اسقف بلده فباركه وسامه

شماسا وقد اوصى الشعب المسيحى ان يجعلوا بساده من بعده اسقفا من ابصاى وتوابعها.

رسامته اسقفا :

فلما تنيح الاسقفاجمع الشعب على تزكيته ومضوا به الى البطريرك انه هو المختار من الله فرسمه اسقفا. واقام عند البطريرك اياما الذى امره باقامة القداس الالهى فصعد الى المذبح ليقدم الصعيده وفيما هو يخدم الاسرار ولما وضع اصبعه فىالكأس ليرسم الاسباديقون انصبغ اصبعه وصار احمرا كالعتيق ،فتعجب كل من رأه واما اابطريرك فقال له يااصودى بالحقيقه انت مختار من الله

وكان يشاهد سيدنايسوع المسيح على المذبح الطاهر وقت التناول....وكان اذا تلا الصلاه السريه لاستدعاء اروح القدس ليحل على السرائر المقدسه يشاهدحمامه بيضاء يشع منها شعاع من نور يملأ فمها من الدم الكريم ويضعه على الجسد المقدس بالرسم الالهى .ويشهد لنا ابونا القديس الانبا يسادهانه كان يشاهد الكأس فى ذلك الوقت يفور كأن النار تحته والجسد المقدس بفعل النار االاهوتيه يبيض كالصوف النقى كالثلج الابيض .

وفى زمانه لم يكن من يعادله فى الفضيله،واستحق هذاالقديس ان يظهر له السيد المسيح الذى وعده بأن يكون مثل الرسل المبشرين فى الكرامه وصنع الايات والمعجزات وقد امتد به الاجل وعمر طويلا وظل على كرسى الاسقفيه نحو ثمانين عاما.

وقد نالت هذا الاب شدائد كثيره من المخالفين والهراطقه ولاسيا من رجل يدعى اسمه فرديموس وهذا كان هرطوقيا ولم يرتدع من اقوال القديس ونصائحه بل سعى لدى بلاط الملك ووشى بالقديس انبا بساده حتى عزل عن كرسيه وجلس هو عوضا عنه،فلما خرج انبا بساده من مدينة ابصاى هاربا من وجه فرديموس مضى الى اسوان واجتمع بأسقف الناحيه هناك وقص عليه جميع ما اتفق له وصعد الاثنان الى الجبل واقام انبا بساده هناك عند رجل حبيس ثلاث سنين حتى اهلك الله فرديموس ومات وخسر نفسه بسبب عدم ايمانه بلاهوت السيد المسيح ومقاومته لبيعته .

تملك دقلديانوس وبعد زمان تحقق له ما قاله ملاك الرب عن دقلديانوس فى الرؤيا اذ اثار الاضطهاد على المسيحيين فى كل البقاع فكان هذا الاسقف انبا بساده وغلليكنيوس ايضا يثبتان المؤمنين فى الايمان بالمسيح ويقاومان عبادة الاوثان .وسعى بهذا الديس عند اربانوس الوالى فكتب لدقلديانوس فى هذا الشأن ان من الاساقفه احدهم يسمى ابساده والاخر غلينيكوس يعلمان الشعب ان لا يعبدوا الالهه.فأمر الملك هكذا لاريانوس من اجل الاسقفين العظيمين ابساده وغلينيكوس ان اطاع بساده وضحى للألهه اجعله رئيس كهنةللأوثان يمدينة الاسكندريه وان لم يفعل فتضرب عنقه سريعا اما غلينيكوس الذى من الاشمونين ان اطاع اجعله كبير كهنة الاوثان والا نعذبه عذابا شديدا ثم تضرب عنقه بحد السيف.

استشهاده

فلما وصل المندوب الى ابصاى (ابطلمايس)كان القديس يعلم الشعب وهو لابس لباس الكهنوت فطلب منه الانبا بساده ان يمهله يوما واحدا فأجابه الى طلبه فجمع الكهنه والشعب واوصاهم بالثبات على الايمان المستقيم ثم صلى القداس الالهى وقربهم من الاسرار المقدسه وودعهم وخرج مع المندوب والجند فأوصلوه الى اريانوس الوالى الذى كان قاصدا الصعيد الاعلى فى احدى جولاته فى اضطهاد المسيحيين .فأحسن استقباله لما رأى وجهه المنير وما هو عليه من الهيبه والوقار.فلما لم يجد معه الكلام اراد ان يرهبه فألقى به فى سجن مظلم قذر ومنع عنه الطعام وتركه عشرة ايام ثم عرض عليه ان يبخر للالهه ثم اعاده ثانية الى الحبس خمسة ايام اخرى وللمره الثالثه اقام ستة ايام فأكمل فيها واحد وعشرين يوما صائما بغير طعام .ولما رأه الوالى وكل الحاضرين حينما رأوا وجهه مشرقا كمن هو قادم من وليمه.فقال له اريانوس:العلهم كانوا يأتونك بما تقتات به اوان لديك قوه سحريه تقهربها الجوع والعطش فأجابه الاسقف:انى اشفق عليك ياعزيزى لانك لم تعرف بعد انه ليس بالخبز وحده يحيا الانسان.

فأسرع الوالى وكتب قضيته وسلمه للجند.وخرجوا به خارج البلد ليضربوا عنقه،فستمهلهم القديس حتى يصلى وكان لابسا بدلة الكهنوت(ملابس الخدمه البيضاء)فرحا كمن هو ذاهب الى حفلة العرس وصلى

طالبا الثبات لشعبه الايمان القويم ومغفرة خطاياهم.وكان ذو شيبه صالحه ورغم كبر سنه لم يتغير جسده ولا ضعف بصره ،وفى الطريق اقترب شماس شاب من الاسقف يسأله:

-ياابى لماذا ارتديت الثياب البيضاء التى ترتديها حين ترفع القرابين؟

-ياابنى انا ذاهب الى حفلة العرس فكيف لا البس الملابس البيضاء وسألتقى بربى والهى فى مجده ولقد عشت السنين الطويله مشتاقا لهذا اللقاء،اما انت ياابنى فأنضم الى الجموع قبل ان يلحظ الجند انك تحدثنى والى اللقاء فى النور الاعظم

ثم تقدم السياف الى ضرب عنقه بحد السيف واتفق مع رجلا مؤمنا كان حاضرا اسمه فيلكسيوس ففرش

ازارا نقيا قبل فيه دم الشهيد،وهكذا امل جهاده الحسن ونال اكليل الشهاده بمدينة قاو فى اليوم السابع والعشرين من شهر كيهك بركة صلواته تكون معنا امين وقد جرت العاده على اقامة احتفال سنوى فى اول اغسطس من كل عام.

صلاة الانبا بساده قبل الاستشهاد (ياربى يسوع المسيح ابن الله اسالك ان تحل شعبك من خطاياهم وتقبل نفوسنا الذى هو انا الخاطئ والمسكين) ثم سمع بعد ذلك الصوت من السماء قائلا : تعالى ياحبيبى انبا يساده الى مساكن النياح الذى اعده لك ابى الصالح انا اقسم بذاتى وحدى انا ازكى اسمك فى العالم كله ويدعوك الشعوب كلها الاسقف العظيم وجسدك الطاهر يضعوه فى مدينة ابصاى وانا اقول لك ياحبيبى بساده ان كل من يكتب سيرة شهادتك انا اكتب اسمه فى سفر الحياه ، ومن يستر جسدك انا استره يوم الدينونه باطياب نورانيه وكل من يصنع تذكارك ويعطى لبيعتك قربان باسمك انا اغفر خطاياه واسامحه وكل من بيعه باسمك انا ابنى له بيتا فى السموات لم تصنعه الايدى وكل من ليس له ولد وسالنى باسمك انا ارزقه اولاد مباركين وكل من سمى ولده باسمك انا اشفيه من سائر اوجاعه وكل من رحم مسكين وتحنن على فقير باسمك انا اعطيه عوض ذلك اضعاف ومن كان فى البحر وهاج عليه او فى القفار او البرارى وخاف من اللصوص والوحوش وسالنى باسمك انا اسمعه عاجلا واخلصه، ومن حلف ببيعتك كاذبا انا انتقم منه سريعا، ومن سالت عنه اكلمه لك وما لم تضيفه اكمل لك ثم سكت الصوت عنه وبعد ذلك تقدم للسياف الذى اخذ رقبته بالسيف ونال اكليل الشهادة.

Bishop Besada 

St. origination:

He was born in Upper Egypt of Christians and parents were working and caring for sheep farming and they raised him up in the fear of God.
He studied the divine books and prophecies of the prophets and the teachings of the apostles,when he grown up his father asked his help looking after the sheep.

This saint was

He continued reading the  Holy Scriptures with fasting and prayer and he Gradient in the rituals.

In his youth, he saw a vision and God revealed to him what becomes him Agraybata (Diocletian), as it becomes the property of all the Roman state and staying persecution against the pledge of allegiance holy God glorified in his saints.

St.Besada went back to his country Bishops to bless and  ordained him as a deacon .Christian people have been recommended to make the pousada after him bishop of Abesay and related accessories.

Ordained bishop:

After the Bishop Passed away all the people agreed on ordaining St.Besada as Bishop so they went with him to the Patriarch and said that he's the chosen from God to be there Bishop So the Patriarch do so .

And he stayed with the Patriarch for a day's as he asked him to Pray the divine  Liturgy , when he went up to the altar to serves the secrets of holly mass and as he  put his finger in the cup to cross the (decpotikon   ) which is the middle part of the Eucharist found his Finger dyed and became red like the Agate , All who saw him Marveled and the Patriarch said Truly you are chosen by God.

He Watched Jesus Christ on the Altar at the time of eating the Eucharist .
while he's pray the secret pray to replace the holy spirit over the Eucharist he see a white Dove fly and there is a light Beam comes out and Radiates  From it  and fills the mouth of the holy blood  cup (while the Transubstantiation of the bread and wine to Christ Body and blood ) and put it on the holy body painting divine.

our holy  father st.Besada  witness the Cup of the ritual holy mass boiling under the fire and also the the bread before the transubstantiation to holy Christ Body due to  Theological Fire turn to white like wool and pure snow .

In His Time no one was like him or even equivalent in Virtue  , He deserved to See Jesus Christ as He Promised Him to be like the  apostles missionaries in dignity and making signs and miracles has extended its long-term ages to  remained on a chair episcopal about eighty years.

This father has won afflictions in large offenders and heretics and Asia from a man named named Ferdimus This was heretical has not deterred the words of St. and advice , but he sought at the king tile with ST.Besada so the king isolated St. Besada from his chair and Ferdimus sat in his stead .

when ST.Besada Fugitive from the face of Ferdimus and he left his city Abesay and went to Aswan there he met with the Bishop of the district and share with him what happened and  the story for Ferdimus and both of them agreed to climbed the mountain and stayed there with a locked man ( locked up himself at the mountain for prayer's without getting out of his place ) for three year's Till God Destroy Ferdimus  and he passed away but he Lost himself Because of his belief in the divinity of Jesus Christ and the resistance to the oath of God  allegiance.

Diocletian owns and this upon St.Besada vision about Diocletian  becomes the property of all the Roman state and staying persecution against the pledge of allegiance holy God glorified in his saints.

 As the effects of the persecution of Christians in every land St.Besada and Glliknyos Prove believers in faith in Christ and resist idolatry

Dess strives to let Arpanos the Governor to wrote for Dicoletian in this concerning St.Besada and Glliknyos to stop both of them to worship God , Then The King Dicoletian commanded to Arianus for two great Bishops st.Besada and Glliknyos as If St.Besada obeyed us and sacrificed to the Idols make him the Head of Idols priests in Alexandria and if Not cut his throat quickly ,

For Glliknyos if he obeyed our Command also make Him the Highest Priest of idols otherwise torture him roughly and let him severely suffer then cut his throat with a Sword .

His martyrdom

When the Delegate arrived to Abesay (Abtalmays ) , St. Besada was teaching the people and he was dressed in the priesthood clothes and Bishop st .Besada ask the Delegate to give him one day to reply him and the delegate accept to give him one day , 

St.Besada gathered the priests and all the people and charged them to be more stable on the Orthodox faith and then he prayed the Divine Liturgy and Let all the people to eat from the  Eucharist and Farewell them , 

St. Besada went with the Delegate  and his soldier to Arianus the Governor , who was intending to to start his tours of persecution of Christians at Upper Egypt  .

So Arianus the Governor  well greeted ST. Besada , when he saw his face enlightening and what it is the prestige and dignity.

When Arianus couldn't convince st.Besada to worship the idol he want to intimidated him by throwing st Besada in such a drak  sloppy and dirty prison without any food and he left Him there for 10 days and then Arianus asked the St to vaporizes and worship to the idol and then he throw him again in the Prison for another 5 days and then for the 3rd Time he held six day's as result the St. stayed for almost 21 day's in the prison without Food .

When Arianus the Governor and all those present saw st.Besada face was brightened like some one come from banquet , so Arianus said : did they bring to you food there in the prison or you have a magical Power to come over your hunger and thirst ?
Bishop replied : i pity you My dear , because you dont know that " 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'” Matthew 4:4 .

Governor Hurried and wrote his case and handed it to the solider as they took him out of the country to cut of his throat .

St.Besada asked them to let him pray before his cutting his throat , so he was praying with his priesthood clothes the white suit and he was so happy and joyful  as if he's going to wedding ceremony  . 

He prayed for his people  Persistence in true faith  and forgiveness for all there sins , with an old age favor and in spite   of his age  neither his body change nor his sight weakness .

IN his way a young deacon approached from st. Besada and asked him " why you are wearing the priesthood clothes which you supposed to wear it only while your praying the Divine liturgy ??

St.Besada replied :" Son , I'm going to the wedding party, how do not i wear  My white clothes and I will meet my Lord and my God in his glory, and I have lived long years waiting  for this meeting.

and you son join the crowd  before the solders noticed that your talking to me , we will meeting again at the great light .

Then the swordfish headed with his sword close to st.Besada and he agreed with a good believe named Filkocs to  place a piece of clean clothes to take the martyr Blood .

ٍSo , St.Besada fought the Good fight ,and won the crown of martyrdom at Gao city in the twenty seventh day of kiahk blessing of his prayer will be with us . 

It has traditionally been the establishment of an annual celebration of the first of August each year.

Prayers Bishop before martyrdom (my Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God ask you to replace your people from their sins and accept our souls, which is I'm wrong and the poor) and then heard a voice from heaven saying ;" Come to Me My Beloved Besada , come to the departure heaven place which i prepare By My Favor Father , I Swear by myself alone That I"LL Purer your Name in the whole world and all people named you the great Bishop and Your Pure Body will be put in Absay city . 

"I'LL Tell you my Beloved Besada , Any one will write the biography of your testimony, I"ll Write his name in The Book oF Life , 

Anyone  coat your Body i'll coat his body from the judgment day with a lightning  perfume    ,

Anyone who makes a remembrance and give to your place a sacrifices   In your name I forgive his sins and forgive him, 

Anyone build a place In your name i will build him a place in the heaven which is not build by hand and anyone who doesn't have a boy and asked me in your name i will give him a blessed children , 

Anyone who named his sons name by yours i 'll heal him from all his pains and anyone who have mercy over the poor fellow and had a compassion over the poor in your name i will give him instead multiple , 

Anyone who faced the raging sea or wilderness or in wild land and he is afraid from the monster and thief's and asked me by your name quickly   save him ,
whoever swears with your church and lie I'm Avenged it quickly  ,
whatever you asked for i will complete it for you and whatever you didn't add i will add it for you,

Then This Voice stopped and he approached to the swordfish   whom take his throat away and he received the crown of martyrdom.
